The Australian Homestead Motor Lodge is leased and operated by Christopher Hawe. Our aim is to give all guests of the Motel an enjoyable and friendly place to come and stay with our motto being "strangers on arrival,friends on departure" which will be achieved by the country hospitality provided by each staff member. The motel is a AAA rated 3.5 star motel with 28 units on ground floor level. All units have reverse cycle air conditioning, bar fridge, toaster, irons & ironing boards, tea & coffee making facilities, colour tv remote control,hair dryer & mini bars. The motel is set on 20 acres with the main area of the motel being surrounded by 5 acres of manicured lawns and gardens.The grounds are complimented by a saltwater smiwmming pool,bbq area and an outdoor jacuzzi. The motel being set back away from the road previous guests have commented how quiet the rooms are. The motel is situated at Gumly Gumly which is approx 5 klms east from the centre of Wagga Wagga away from the hustle and bustle and making it a haven for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The motel also has The Rivergum Restaurant and Licensed Bar which offers a country style a-la-carte menu for dinners with servings and prices to match the country hospitality. Enjoy a night in the warmth of the log fires in winter time or the cooling of the ducted air conditioning in summer whilst sipping on your favourite cocktail. We can also accommodate Groups for short or long stays with a variety of Dinner,Bed and Breakfast packages available. |

The Motel is situated at Gumly Gumly which is approx 5 klms from the centre of Wagga on the eastern side.If coming from either Sydney or Melbourne on the Hume Highway turn off onto the Sturt Highway and we are approx 39 klms from the Hume Highway. We are only approx 2klms from the airport and RAAF base . By Air:Daily flights from Sydney & Melbourne with Regional Express Airlines or Qantas. ByTrain:Twice a day from Sydney & Melbourne By Coach:Greyhound or Fearnes Coaches from Wagga |
