The 4 Star Charbonnier is set back from the highway on a spacious parkland setting with resort like facilities - full size floodlit tennis court, large swimming pool, children's wading pool, BBQ, large sail covered patio with ample tables & seating adjoining the pool & BBQ., Indoor Spa and Sauna. 70 tastefully appointed rooms are on two floors, accessed by either elevator or stairs and all upstairs units have a balcony - all rear units overlook the pool and park like grounds. All the bathrooms in the upstairs rooms have been completely upgraded. Charade's Licensed Restaurant featuring modern Ausralian cuisine is in a lovely relaxed setting, overlooking the pool and spacious grounds. Charades is also open every morning featuring a delicious cold buffet breakfast comprising fruit juices, fresh fruits, fruit compote, yoghurt, cereals, toast and preserves, tea and coffee and hot dishes cooked to order. The wineries at Pokolbin are only 15 minutes drive away, and the Hunter Valley Gardens, also at Pokolbin, are beautiful whatever the season. Take a hot air balloon flight over the vineyards in the earling morning, followed by a champagne breakfast. The horse studs at Scone are only one hours drive away and only 34km from Singleton is beautiful Lake St. Clair, we can pack you a gourmet picnic basket, or further afield the rainforests of the beautiful Barrington Tops National Park are the southern limit of the World Heritage Listed rainforest of Eastern Australia. |

Singleton is a comfortable drive 2 hours north west of Sydney in the heart of the Hunter Valley on the New England Highway. Quality Inn Charbonnier at 44 Maitland Rd., (New England Hwy.,) is the first motel on the right hand side when approaching Singleton from the south. Approaching from the north, the motel is the second motel on the left after passing McDonalds. A taxi service is available from Singleton railway station |
