Getting There Halifax International Airport (travel time is 30 minutes):
Follow the road from the Airport to Highway 102 South (to Halifax). At Exit 5, bear left and take Highway 118 to Dartmouth. Follow Highway 118 and bear right at Exit 4. Follow the signs to the MacKay Bridge. The toll is C$0.75 - only quarters are accepted. Change can be provided at the marked booths. Get in the left lane once on the bridge. This will allow you to exit onto Barrington Street. Travel South on Barrington Street will be approximately 10 minutes. After the second set of lights, bear right and take the ramp to continue south along Barrington Street. At the third set of lights you will see the Delta Halifax on your right. At the fifth set of lights, (Barrington and Prince), turn right onto Prince Street. Continue to the top of the hill and you will see The Prince George Hotel sign on your right. To access the front entrance of the Hotel, turn right onto Market Street. Our front doors are just ahead on your right hand side. To access our parking garage, continue along Market Street, turn right down Carmichael Street and right again onto Grafton Street. A large green parking sign on your right hand side will indicate the entrance to the hotel Parking garage.

Yarmouth via Highway 103 (South Shore). Yarmouth to Halifax travel time approximately 3½ hours:
Follow Highway 103 to Halifax. Exit Route 3 (St. Margaret's Bay Road) to the Armdale Rotary. Take the Quinpool Road exit
Stay on Quinpool Road. You will pass through several sets of lights - Quinpool\Connaught, Quinpool\Oxford, Quinpool\Harvard, Quinpool\Preston. As you approach the next major intersection, (Quinpool\Robie), you will see St. Patrick's High School on your left, stay in the left lane. Proceed through the straight arrow in the overhead lights to Cogswell Street. Continue through the next two sets of lights until you reach Cogswell & Brunswick Streets. Turn right on Brunswick Street. Take your next left on Carmichael Street. To access our parking garage, turn right on to Grafton Street. A large green parking sign on your right hand side will indicate the entrance to the hotel Parking Garage. To access the front entrance of the Hotel, take your first right off Carmichael Street onto Market Street.
Our front doors are straight ahead of you on the right.

Yarmouth to Halifax via The Annapolis Valley (Highway 101)
Yarmouth to Halifax travel time approximately 4 hours.
Upon leaving Yarmouth follow Highway 101 to Halifax via Digby. This route will take you through our beautiful Annapolis Valley. Highway 101 passes through Upper, Middle and Lower Sackville en route to Bedford. At exit 4 (on highway 102) you have the option of proceeding through Bedford to Halifax; or taking the Bedford bypass to Dartmouth. Take the Bedford bypass, which is Route 7 to Dartmouth then onto Halifax. This is a shorter and faster route. Route 7 becomes Windmill Road, which becomes Victoria Road. Follow the signs to the A. Murray Mackay Bridge. There is a toll of $0.75- only quarters are accepted. Change can be provided at the marked booths.

Parking Parking
Indoor garage parking (6 foot clearance) is available along with valet-parking. The cost is C$20 plus taxes per night for self-park, C$25 plus taxes per night for valet parking.

The Prince George Hotel is close to the Halifax Citadel, Canada's most visited national historic site.
