Hotel Las Palapas is located on the Riviera Maya: 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of Cancun International Airport, in downtown Playa del Carmen, directly on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mexican Caribbean. Only a few steps away from the hotel you will find yourself directly on the known 5 th Avenue of Playa del Carmen; famous for its numerous restaurants, bars and small shops of all kinds. Famous Beach Clubs such as: Mamita's and Canibal Royal, are also in the area. Tulum and the archaeological sites can be easily visited due to their proximity.

Accommodations:
Rooms are furnished with King or two Double-beds, ceiling fans, bathrooms with showers and hair dryers, safety-deposit boxes, complementary wi-fi and a private veranda or terrace with hammocks and armchairs. Beach Front, Ocean View Poolside, Deluxe Garden View, Superior Garden View, Studio Terrace and Garden View Bungalows are available. All rooms are air-conditioned. Mini fridges ara available on request. The voltaje of our electrical out-lets 110 volts. The superior and Studio rooms have an additional sitting area with a sofa-bed. Our rooms are surrounded by ample and exuberant tropical gardens.

Ecology.
Hotel Las Palapas has a commitment to the environment. Only about 20% of the land is developed, leaving the rest as gardens and untouched areas. Bed linens and towels are changed only upon request. Hotel Las Palapas has a water and energy saving program and recycles most of its refuse.

Getting There	Hotel Las Palapas is located in the center of Playa del Carmen, about 50 minutes due south, towards Tulum, from the Cancun International Airport. Using a Taxi: inside the Airport buy your ticket in the booths located just as you exit the greeting area. Approximate Cost: USD $65. Or you can take a "collective" taxi for about $18 USD per person. Prices subject to change without prior warning. Using a Bus: In Airport parking area, there is a shuttle bus service to Playa del Carmen. Upon arrival at Playa del Carmen bus station, located in Juarez Avenue and 5th Avenue, you can take a taxi (about $2.50 USD) to Hotel Las Palapas. Schedule: Airport - Playa del Carmen: Every 30 minutes, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Playa del Carmen - Airport: Every 30 minutes, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Approximate Cost: USD $8, per person, one way. Schedules and prices are subject to change without warning. Using a Car: (From Cancun's Airport) Take highway 307 south, towards Tulum. In about 35 minutes you will arrive at Playa del Carmen. Keep on the highway until you get to a traffic light with a sign reading "PLAYAS" (beaches) indicating a left turn, take the left turn and keep going straight until you arrive at Hotel Las Palapas. If you are travelling from Cancun by car, follow the same directions. If you want to take the bus, get a taxi to the Bus Station in Cancun; ticket cost is about $3.5 USD per person, one way. Playa del Carmen Airport / Domestic Airport A distance of 3 kilometres. This is very small airport and offers short hops to the more distance places like Isla Mujeres, Hol Box Island, Chichen Itza, or other nearby Maya Ruins. Cozumel International Airport It is located in the North side of the island at 2 miles form San Miguel town, 5 minutes driving to town to the pier where the ferries goes directly to Playa del Carmen, straight to the Quinta Avenida. This airport offers national and international fights. Ferry You can be in Playa del Carmen in 35 minutes departing from Cozumel, ferries stars at 5:00 a.m. and the late is at 11:00 p.m. The approximate cost for a round trip Cozumel - Playa del Carmen - Cozumel is about 25 usd per person.
