| Getting There |
From the Domestic and International airports straight to our door: Either taxi, Kingsford Smith Airport Bus, or catch the Airport Link train to Wynyard Station. You'll be at Wynyard station in just 12 minutes from the Domestic or International terminal railway stations. At Wynyard Station use the York Street exit and turn left to the hotel, which is just 50 metres from the station on the corner of Margaret Street. CountryLink passenger train services change at Central Station for Wynyard via CityRail services. Spirit of Tasmania III fast-ferry to and from Tasmania berths at Darling Harbour and can be reached by a short taxi ride. By car the hotel is located on the corner of York and Margaret streets, 300 metres from the Harbour Bridge off-ramp. Take the York Street exit. |

Travelodge Wynyard is just a five minute walk to climb the Harbour Bridge; eight minute walk to the Rocks and Circular Quay for ferries to the zoo or Manly. Tour nearby Sydney Opera House, walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens to the Art Gallery, Museum of Sydney, Parliament House and St Mary's Cathedral. Take a 15 minute drive to watch your favourite team play at the SFS or SCG. A 15 minute stroll will have you in Chinatown's array of yum cha restaurants and curio shops, Paddy's Markets, or cinemas. Only 12 a minute walk away is Darling Harbour if attending a convention, visiting the nearby IMAX Theatre, Sydney Aquarium, Star City Casino, National Maritime Museum, Overseas Passenger terminal for cruise ships, and Powerhouse Museum. Just 50 metres (a one minute walk) to Wynyard railway station for trains to the Olympic site at Homebush Bay, Sydney Airport, the scenic Blue Mountains, or metropolitan Sydney. |
