The landmark upon which The Charlie resides today was first built & established in 1924 by the Ruth Gordon family. Word has it that numerous movie star legends have roamed these grounds in the past, living out their glorious days to the fullest! Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, and Gloria Swanson are only a few of such legends to name, to whom at one point or another The Charlie grounds were believed to have been a home!

In 2002, threatened by re-development, this historical landmark was acquired by Menachem Treivush and has since undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. By carefully preserving historically-scrutinizing details, incorporating the technology of today, and dedicating careful attention to detail, Mr. Treivush has rapidly built up The Charlie into the unique establishment that it is today! Since re-opening to the public in 2008, The Charlie has become known as THE hidden gem of the legendary West Hollywood!

Consisting of 14 private bungalow rooms this establishment is unlike any other! Available for both hotel stays and long-term rentals! Getting There	From LAX: Traditional yellow taxi cab will cost about $60-$70, and take 25-30 minutes. Driving directions from LAX to The Charlie: Start out going east on World Way/Center Way. Take the Sepulveda Blvd North/CA-1 N ramp Merge onto S Sepulveda Blvd. Turn right onto La Tijera Blvd. La Tijera Blvd is just past W 89th St Quiznos Sub in Westchester Square is on the right If you are on S Sepulveda Blvd and reach W Manchester Ave you've gone about 0.1 miles too far
Parking	Each unit is assigned 1 gated parking spot at no additional cost. Street parking is available as well, and no permit is required. Restricted hours: Mon & Tues 8:00am-10:00am opposite sides of the street for street cleaning.
