2 Stars Hotel entirely renovated in 2000, refreshed in 2005, with 41 rooms, "all" with air conditioning, television satellite, full private bathrooms, direct telephone, safe and telefax at reception desk. With a 5 minute walk to Tube station Charonne, Ledru Rollin, Bastille, the hotel is only a few minutes from some of the most interesting Parisian touristique sights. The Bastille Charonne Hotel is ideally situated between Nation and Bastille close to the Republique, Opera Bastille and Gare de Lyon. The heart of Paris always beats in this district which kept the spirit of the former villages. The Street of Charonne offers havens of peace, as this passage paved in n°37 or the back-yard of n°59, the former hotel of Mortagne to n°51 and 53 or the passage of Cheval-Blanc, in the angle of the street of the Rocket, where we can walk and admire in the numerous run workshops harmed by wooden passageways … Hidden behind carriage entrances, the district teems with invisible hidden recesses which come to light to the attentive walker … The Suburb Saint Antoine, the former district of the artisans of the piece of furniture, the earthenware and the textile industry, gained by the artistic population of current Paris, keeps its craft character. In the picturesque mess of the suburb St-Antoine, a cabinetmaker would not find easily his trying-plane, but an informed tourist will find certainly of what to spend a very amusing afternoon.
