Eco Village Resort has 17 individual bungalows situated in a rainforest and tropical garden setting, just 20 metres to the beach and a leisurley 10 minute stroll to town. Eco Village is the ideal destination for the family or for the couples looking for that peaceful get-away. The self contained bungalows are placed around the rock formed pool with the deluxe doubles in their own secluded area. Self Contained: Queen bed with a set of three bunk beds nestled behind a timber partition. There is a hot plate, micro wave oven with all necessary crockery and utensils and a family size fridge/freezer. Tea/coffee making faciliy. Air conditioning and ceiling fans. Private verandahs overlook a tropical garden. Deluxe Double: King bed. Micro wave oven. Tea/Coffee making facility. Air conditioner and ceiling fans. Eco Village is a pleasant 1 1/2 hour drive down the Bruce Highway fron Cairns or 2 1/2 hours from Townsville. McCafferty's Bus Service picks up at their terminal in Cairns and Townsville and delvers to the bus station in Mission Beach. Mission Beach Dunk Island Connections pick up from Cairns Airport and most ccommodation houses in Cairns and deliver to our door. One way car rental is available from Sugarland Car Rentals in Cairns. |

| Things To Do |
Enjoy a walk on the beach or on some of the local tropical rainforest walkways. Take a day cruise to Dunk Island or The Great Barrier reef. Within an easy drive you can visit the many waterfalls in the area, interesting Paronella Park, the crocodile park or learn about the local sugar industry with a visit to the Tully sugar mill or sugar museum. Catch your dinner at the nearby boat ramp, jetty or on a chartered fishing trip. For the more adventurous there is white water rafting on the Tully River or take in the scenic beauty of the area as you sky dive onto the beach. |
