Fresh mountain air and a picturesque location make the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort the ideal refuge in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The Banff Rocky Mountain Resort offers 171 guest rooms. The type of accommodation varies from standard suites to condominium style suites, some with wet bars and some with kitchens. All suites feature comfortable living room areas with gas or wood-burning fireplaces, cable television, hairdryers and data port phones. Season’s Dining Room offers a warm fire and a great menu combine to offer our guests casual dining in a cozy atmosphere. Canadian Rockies Cuisine. Open daily for dinner at 5:30 p.m.. Pepper’s Bar & Deli offers lively cocktails, coffees and deli delights. Eat in and enjoy a game of darts or billiards, or grab a delicious snack to go. Open daily from 7:00 am – 12:00 am. Our on-site Mountain Health & Fitness Club offers a fully equipped exercise room with free weights, strength training & aerobic machines. The resort offers two squash courts, two outdoor tennis courts, indoor pool, indoor & outdoor hot tubs and sauna. There is also a registered massage therapist on site. We offer guests a variety of daily activities. The resort provides complimentary shuttle service for guests to downtown Banff - shuttle runs every hour from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm. Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is an accredited "Child Friendly" resort whose aim is to help children and teens feel respected and welcome during their stay. A complete "Child Friendly" package is presented to children at check in. Banff Rocky Mountain Resort welcomes you and your pet. Since we are in a national park, we request that your pet be on leash and under control at all times. There is an extra pet charge of C$20.00 plus tax per pet per night up to a maximum of two pets. For your convenience, we offer coin operated laundry facilities with commercial duty washers and dryers. Dry cleaning services are available through the front desk. |

Banff is 138 km (83 miles) from the Calgary International Airport. Calgary is served by major airlines around the world. Regular bus service operates from the International Airport directly to the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort. Major car rental companies are represented at the Airport and within the town of Banff. The Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is a scenic 1 1/2 hour drive from Calgary on Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway). From Calgary: Follow the Trans Canada Highway West to the first Banff exit (Banff/Lake Minnewanka sign). Turn left onto Banff Avenue and proceed towards downtown Banff. The Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is the first hotel on the left, at the corner of Banff Avenue and Tunnel Mountain Road. |

Shuttle Service: The resort provides complimentary shuttle service for guests to downtown Banff - shuttle runs every hour from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm. Our sports activities desk offers year-round daily activities and excursions for all ages. A weekly activities sheet is available to our guests upon check-in. Our staff can also provide brochures and information on activities in the area and will be happy to make bookings with local companies for you.
