The James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor is located right in the heart of Wellington, the hotel has direct access to the major shopping precinct of Lambton Quay and only a short walk to the city’s government and corporate offices. Parliament, Wellington Convention Centre, Westpac Stadium, TSB Arena, Te Papa, the Cable Car and Botanic Gardens are all within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel. The James Cook comprises of 260 air-conditioned rooms and suites with a range of facilities suitable for business and leisure travellers. Whitby’s Bar & Restaurant offers its patrons a delicious array of choices from buffet to a la carte to light meals, Sojourn cafe is located in the lobby with an exciting menu of international cuisine. The hotel also has a resident pianist playing 6 nights a week. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy “Bodyhaven” the massage and spa therapy clinic next door to our gymnasium. 24 hour reception and room service is also available. |
