| Getting There |
BY TRAIN Central railway Station F.S.: 200 meters from the hotel - 5 minutes on foot. At the same floor of the platform, at the hall, take the exit at the right side, go down to the ground floor, go across the square (piazza IV Novembre) in the direction of Via Fabio Filzi (opposite side of exit) and walk towards right. The first road on the left is via Gasparotto (Hotel Madison) FROM MALPENSA AIRPORT By car: 50 km - The journey lasts around 1 hour - Follow directions to Milan that will take you into the highway A8 (autostrada) therefore drive along the A8 in the direction of Milan and exit at Viale Certosa. Pay attention because the exit is still about 2 km further on after the sign "viale Certosa". Once out of the highway, at the traffic lights turn left into viale Certosa (under the highway bridge) Drive along viale Certosa for about 1 km and you will see a bridge (cavalcavia Bacula) that crosses above viale Certosa. Turn left under this bridge and you will be in viale Monte Ceneri. Drive along this road which is a ring road (circonvallazione) that goes round Milan. As this is a long road it changes name several times and will take you in the direction of the train station (Stazione Centrale). When this ring road (circonvallazione) will have the name of viale Lunigiana and that is before the train station, pay attenion and turn right at a traffic lights into via Ponte Seveso and then the third road on the right is via Gasparotto (Hotel Madison) By train: There is a train service that will take you to Cadorna train station in Milan. The journey lasts around 40 minutes plus 15 minutes by underground (metropolitana). For further information link to: http://www.sea-aeroportimilano.it/Malpensa/collegamenti/collegamenti.htm. Once you arrive at Cadorna train station which is around 3km far from the Hotel Madison either take a taxi (15 minutes) or take the green line n° 2 of the underground in the direction of Cologno or Gessate and get off at Centrale F.S. (Central train station - 5 stops). Get out of the underground taking the main exit in the direction of the Stazione Centrale (train station). Once out walk under the arcades of the train station to the left side in the direction of Piazza IV Novembre (square). Go across this square in the direction of via Fabio Filzi (opposite side) and walk towards right. The first road on the left is via Gasparotto (Hotel Madison) By bus: There is a bus service every 20 minutes that will take you to Stazione Centrale (main train station in Milan). Tickets may be bought inside airport or directly at the bus stop (ask the driver). The journey lasts around 1 hour. For further information link to:http://www.sea-aeroportimilano.it/Malpensa/collegamenti/collegamenti.htm. Once you arrive at the Stazione Centrale in Milan which is around 200 meters and 5 minutes by feet far from the Hotel Madison take the side entrance by the same sidewalk of the bus stop on the right side and go to the upper floor (train arrival-departure). Walk across the hall on to the opposite side and go down to the ground floor. Once you go out of the station go across piazza IV Novembre in the direction of Via Fabio Filzi (opposite side of exit) and walk towards right.
