The María Luisa Park is an ideal place to go for a stroll. It is an English-style garden that offers a countless number of plants and trees. The French gardener Forestier converted it into a low garden while adding cisterns, fountains and tile work. Not far from the park you will find Plaza España, built for the 1929 Iberoamerican Exhibition. The materials used for its construction were the ones anciently used in the Muslim world, i.e. bare brick and coloured tiles. |
