Getting There Please call in at 27 Buick Street(next door) to pick up your key.
By Road: Head for Petone, from the motorway take the turnoff to Petone either head down Jackson Street and turn right into Buick Street at the National Bank / LoneStar corner half way down the road is Kenlea Cottage or if travelling down The Esplanade, look for Petone Settlers Museum on the foreshore and turn left into Buick Street.

By Rail: Get off at Petone Rail Station, head down Jackson Street, its about 15 minutes walk turn right at the fountain.

By Bus: If from the airport take the Orange Airport Flyer ($8) and get off in central Petone. Or take the 81 or 83 from Central Wellington and get off at the Petone Post Office, its about a $5 ride.

By Ferry: If by car head north to Lower Hutt, get off at Petone exit and head down the foreshore, turn left at Settlers Museum about 2km down the road. Or catch a Taxi Shuttle Vans should be about $36 for the first person and $5 for the next person. Try this website http://www.co-opshuttles.co.nz/
Parking We can make off street car parking available should you need it otherwise there is ample on street parking at the Cottage.
Things To Do Petone offers so much to see and do. Famous for its exclusive boutique shopping, amazing array of bars and restaurants and beach - there are also many places of interest to visit in the surrounding districts which are easily accessible both by car or public transport.

Just around the corner is the Petone Lighthouse Cinema where you can sit back and relax at the best littlelest movie theatre in all of New Zealand.

Its a short 15 minute trip into Wellington New Zealand's capital city. Some highlights include, Te Papa our National Museum, The Cable Car, Wellington Botanical Gardens,Cinema's, Shows and much much more.
