The vibrant coastal township of Apollo Bay is nearby with its excellent range of restaurants open for breakfast until late. Come and enjoy our luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments. All apartments are fully self contained with a full sized kitchen including dishwasher, fridge, gas oven and cooktop, microwave and washing machine/dryer. All linen is provided including towels & bathroom products. We provide a complimentary selection of hot chocolate, tea, coffee, sugar & milk. Other apartment features include spa, gas log fire, phone with dial up internet access, TV/DVD/VCR/CD and air conditioning and/or ceiling fans. Step out onto your private balcony with BBQ and outdoor setting and enjoy the stunning ocean views of Bass Strait and the Great Ocean Road. | Getting There |
Driving instructions from Melbourne via The Great Ocean Rd. Follow the M1 to Geelong As you approach Geelong stay in the right hand lanes and follow the signs to "Colac and The Great Ocean Road" ie: (Geelong By-Pass) At the end of the Geelong By-Pass turn right onto the Princess Highway (at Waurn Ponds). After the next set of traffic lights turn immediately left at roundabout to Anglesea and The Great Ocean Road C134. Continue through Freshwater Creek & Bellbrae following the signs to Angelsea; where the road now becomes the 'Great Ocean Road'. Keep driving towards Lorne. Continue for approx 35 mins through three townships all ending in the word 'river' ie: Wye River, Kennett River & Grey River (popular koala spot). Approximately 6 minutes drive further from Grey River via 'Sugarloaf' - Whitecrest is on the right hand side, is well sign posted with white and yellow flags at the entrance. Train/Bus : Travel to Geelong by Rail from Southern Cross (Spencer St) Station. The V-Line McHarry's Bus departs Geelong Railway Station four times daily and stops at Wongarra. Driving from Adelaide / Warrnambool - follow the Great Ocean Road until Apollo Bay. Continue north along the Great Ocean Rd towards Lorne. Whitecrest is 12 kms from Apollo Bay (about 10 mins drive). Drive through Skenes Creek, followed by Wongarra. Whitecrest is on the left approx 2 kms passed the 'Sunnyside Road' turn off. |
