Lilyponds is a family owned and run caravan park situated in a beautiful rural setting on the Blackall Range, in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast hinterland. We have a range of accommodation from well equipped and comfortable self contained en-suite cabins to camping amongst the trees in our avocado orchard. All our cabins have cooking facilities and a well equipped kitchen for the days when you decide to eat in. We have a range of cafes, eateries and restaurants which give you a huge choice of food styles and prices. Most of the cabins have a veranda or outside area with outdoor furniture. We also have some quiet spots around the park where you can sit and enjoy the bird life of the lily pond or just relax and read a book. We have a reputation as a quiet park, and it is well deserved. Our guests tell us that they really enjoy the simplicity of our park, the peace and quiet, but most of all they enjoy just being here and doing next to nothing while they recharge their batteries. We are off the main road, tucked away and out of sight. Lilyponds is a great base for your holiday on the coast. Your can enjoy the pace of the coastal strip and escape back to the peace and quite of the hills, or you can simply kick back and relax while you are here. |

Our well equipped Lilyponds cabins have a great balcony, the perfect spot to sit and relax. There is a queen bed (with all linen), en-suite, second bedroom (bunks or double with single over it, byo linen) and a living room. Rates are for two people. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $12.00. Extra children $6.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

If you have mobility problems this is the cabin for you. It has ramp access and disabled bathroom. Two bedrooms, main with double and all linen, 2 sets of bunk beds in other. Full kitchen and living room, verandah out the front. Rates as for twp people. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $12.00. Extra children $6.00. Business FacilitiesThe secret of lilyponds is that it is uncomplicated, we want you to enjoy a relaxing time here. So we have concentrated on providing facilities and features that give you a simple, easy way to reduce the stress factor of the modern life.We have a small playground for small children and a swimming pool for all of our guests. We have our own very soft water supply from a natural spring. We also have a rain water tank if you want to use rain water for drinking. We have free undercover gas BBQ’s for you, two are in the camp ground and one is by our lily pond, all have tables and chairs. We have a laundry for those times when washing must be done. |

| Getting There |
You need your own transport. From the Bruce Highway at Nambour take the Blackall Range Tourist Drive Take first exit at roundabout (Nambour/ Mapleton - Tourist Drive 23) ignore service road, Continue on Blackall Range Tourist Drive 23. Sign at main intersection with traffic lights - Nambour (left) Mapleton and Hospital straight ahead - go straight ahead. Continue on Blackall Range Tourist Drive 23, at Nambour Hospital T Junction, with traffic lights, go straight ahead, keeping Hospital on your left. Continue on Blackall Range Tourist Drive 23, along Nambour Mapleton Road going up the hill (approx 10km), do not take left turns to Nambour. There are two main steep sections of the drive up to Mapleton, the only overtaking lane is 1.5km after the beginning of the first section, and last for approx 1km, ending at Dulong Lookout. The second steep section last about 750m and ends when you reach Mapleton. At the top of the hill, you will see a large pink Tavern, and 3 roads. Take the very sharp right hand turn into Post Office Road, go past the Bowls Club and Post Office, take the first turn on the left (Warruga St) and the entrance to Lilyponds is on the bend in Warruga St. |

| Things To Do |
We have bushwalking, arts and crafts, markets, shops, cafes and restaurants. The views from the road along the escarpment are considered to be amongst the best in Australia. Please go to our website and the things to do page for a good look at the attractions of the Range and the Sunshine Coast. |
