A small and quiet complex of 6 townhouse style modern boutique apartments, Bayshores Holiday Apartments are ideally located on the Esplanade at Torquay, and just across the road from the main beach and water sports activities centre of Hervey Bay. A short stroll to cafes, restaurants, hotel, shops, banks, and post office. The spacious and clean apartments are fully self-contained with full kitchen, private laundry, lounge, dining, bathroom, 2 toilets, and a balcony. All apartments have reverse cycle air conditioning and also ceiling fans. All linen including bed sheets, pillow cases, bath towels, soap, etc. are ready for you in your apartment as well as an initial supply of tea, coffee and sugar. We ask that you bring your own beach towel but they may be hired from our office if need be. Free Austar television is provided to each apartment, free use of the gas barbeque and outside dining area is available to our guests as is the inground saltwater swimming pool set in lovely tropical gardens. Please be aware that smoking is not permitted in any of our apartments but ashtrays etc. are provided on the balconies and in the garden at the rear of each apartment. Our on site tour booking office will attend to all your tour bookings and issue tickets including Whale Watching (mid July to end October), Fraser Island, Lady Elliot Island, fishing, diving, snorkelling, scenic flights, cruises, skydiving. Fish, swim, take a tour, or just laze in the sun and read a book, you are sure to enjoy your stay at Bayshores Holiday Apartments. |

Normal ckeck in time is 2 p.m. but if the apartment is available earlier guests are welcome to occupy the apartment. Guests are required to register at reception and provide identification and credit card details. Office hours 8.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m |

| Getting There |
By car Hervey Bay is about 3.5 hours from Brisbane. Follow the Bruce Highway and turn off at Maryborough and follow the signs. If travelling South it is easier to turn off the Bruce Highway at Torbanlea. Once arriving at Hervey Bay follow the main road (Boat Harbour Drive) until Bideford Street then turn left and proceed as far as possible (which is then the Esplanade), turn left along the Esplanade and we are at number 405. By rail : Queensland rail provide services to Maryborough with connecting bus service to Hervey Bay. By bus : Major bus companies including McCafferty's, Greyhound and Premier Motor Company provide regular daily services to the coach arrival and departure terminal in Hervey Bay. By air : Jetstar & Virgin Blue direct flight Sydney to Hervey Bay with connecting flights to Sydney from other major airports.Qantas Link flights from Brisbane to Hervey Bay. |

Each apartment has one undercover car parking space. There is also room for boats and trailers in our car park area but this is not undercover. |
| Things To Do |
Visit world heritage listed Fraser Island and Lady Elliot Island. From mid July to end of October each year the majestic humpback whales make the pristine waters of Hervey Bay their domain and a whale watching tour is an enthralling experience. Fishing from the numerous piers, small hire boats, in the nearby rivers or from charter boats over the outside reefs. Visit the Southern Great Barrier Reef on a day tour to Lady Elliot Island or stopover if you wish.Diving, snorkeling, coral and sea life viewing. Scenic flights and helicopter flights over Hervey Bay, Fraser Island and the nearby area.Skydiving also available. Sailing cruises and dinner cruises. Self drive day tours to numerous locations including historic Maryborough, Childers, Bundaberg, Woodgate Beach, Burrum Heads and Toogoom. Visit Reefworld and feed the sharks, see Snakes Downunder at nearby Childers or visit the Go Kart track for some fast action. Dine out at the nearby restaurants or visit the various clubs in the district for dining and a bit of fun on the poker machines.Courtesy buses are usually provided by the clubs for transport of patrons. |
