Champers Motor Lodge is your first motel on the left as you enter Gisborne off State Highway 2. Set in spacious grounds, we are located opposite one of Gisborne's top golf courses. Whilst situated in peaceful, relaxing surroundings, it is handy to the airport, 3 minutes to the city centre and 5 minutes to Gisbornes's top beaches. We are within walking distance to the main rugby and cricket grounds. We have 14 luxurious ground floor units to suit everyone from corporate to family holidays. The 2 Bedroom suite is a large, self contained unit with separate bedrooms, spa bath, shower and living/dining area. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom with TV and 2 x single beds in the second bedroom. There is also 2 foldout couch/double bed in the lounge area. Our 1 Bedroom Suite is spacious and again a self contained unit. This unit has a queen bed in the bedroom and a foldout double couch in the living area. The kitchen has a 2 burner hob and microwave. Corporate Studio, these units are ideal for the corporate traveller or an overnight stay. There is a queen sized bed and for your convenience tea/coffee making facilities, and a microwave is available in the room. With ensuite facilities and shower. For your relaxation at Champers Motor Lodge, there is a in-ground solar heated pool. Attached is a kiddies pool which overflows into the main pool giving a waterfall effect. The pool complex is all salt water chlorinated ensuring maximum hygiene. The pre-teen children have their own playground We look forward to welcoming you to Champers Motor Lodge. |

| Getting There |
The main entrance to Gisborne is on State Highway 2 from either Napier or Opotiki. We are the first motel on the left hand side, just past the Race Track and Show Grounds/Events Centre, as you head towards Gisborne City Centre. Look out for our large Champagne Fountain. |

Parking available outside your unit. Plenty of spare parking for boats, trailers, race cars or trucks. There is also a car and boat wash area |
| Things To Do |
Because Gisborne has such great historical significance with Captain James Cook, the Statues are a must as well as the Kaiti Hill lookout point. Gisborne is the first city to see the sunrise and what better way to watch it than on one of our golden sandy beaches. Close to town there are vineyards to visit a cidery with viewing platform, bush walks, waterfalls, golf courses, horse riding, surfing lessons and a magnificient arboretum which is a must in the autumn. Gisborne has a laid back and relaxed atmosphere with numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. Gisborne offers deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, quad adventures, speedway, jetsprint boat racing, rugby, cricket and much more. |
