Shambhala Guesthouse is one of the highest accommodation places in Western Australia and has spectacular views across the Blackwood Valley. The 11-acre property is just 3 hours drive south of Perth and close to tall timber forests, walk trails, art galleries, wineries and The Cidery. A great place to stay for a few days to explore the South West. The RAC 4 star guesthouse is purpose built for B&B with a guest’s wing of 4 large bedrooms, spacious guest’s lounge and dining area. Each room has either Queen, King or Twin beds, Ensuite, table & chairs, own contolled heating and fan, electric blankets, doonas, tea & coffee making facilities. 3 bedrooms have a balcony for you to sit out and enjoy the beauty of the hills and valley. The guest’s lounge has a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the beautiful gardens, ponds and valley. This room has 2 sitting areas, wood fire place, TV, Video & CD player. Play a board game or put a piece in the jigsaw puzzle. BBQ facilities are available on the Terrace, a great way to end the day watching a wonderful sunset. Price includes buffet continental breakfast & we have multi night specials. Bridgetown is a great place to stay a few nights and explore the south west from. | Getting There |
The address is: 9 Rokewood Heights, Bridgetown By Car: Driving into Bridgetown from Perth direction, turn left at Steere St which has the Freemason Hotel & Town hall on the left corners. Go up Steere St to the Clovers Corner Store on the right, turn right and then next street on the left is Turner road which has our sign on top. Turn left. Go up Turner Road to the top of rise then this becomes May St on the way down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, May St flows into Kangaroo Gully Rd. Rokewood Heights is the second road on the right (again our sign is on the top of post), turn right, go to the end of Rokewood Heights, turn left and up to the very top of the hill. |

There are 4 parking bays for guests close to the front door and way off the street. Very secure. Plenty of room for large vehicles, boats, etc. |
| Things To Do |
The Historic Town of Bridgetown is on the Blackwood River in the centre of the South West of WA. It is often referred to as "A little slice of England", with rolling hills, rivers and valleys make the area the most scenic in the region. A great place to stay a few days and visit the surrounding areas. Things to do and see: * Stroll along the Heritage Walk Trails * Cruise the many Scenic Drives * Explore the Main Street: Pottery and Art Galleries, Craft Shops, Antiques Stores and Cafes. * Be puzzled at the Jigsaw Gallery and Museum in the Tourist Centre. * Visit the many Wineries and The Cidery. * Look into The Greenbushes Mine. * Canoe & fish the Blackwood River * Visit beautiful gardens open to the public. * Attend one of many festivals throughout the year, Music, Gardens, Heritage days, Xmas in Winter. |
