Whether you’re looking to explore the beauty of the South West, or in search of a weekend getaway, Big Brook Cottages provides guests with the ideal setting just 6km from Pemberton. Spend your days meandering through the heart of Karri Country, visiting a selection of wineries, galleries and restaurants; or for the energetic, experience some of Western Australia’s most spectacular bush trails. A 60 second walk takes you to Big Brook Forest, and the unique Bibbulmun Track. Pemberton is also an ideal location from which to explore the Southwest, as it is only 1.5 hours from Margaret River or The Treetop Walk. On a cold wet day, curl up in front of the log fire, or soak in your own spa bath with a good book. The cottages feature rammed limestone construction – cosy in winter and cool in summer! They also have reverse cycle air conditioning for your added comfort. In the evening, a bottle of local wine and a trout on your own barbeque whilst looking out over Big Brook Forest, will help make your stay at these unique chalets one of life’s true pleasures. Big Brook Retreat now also boasts a new Bed and Breakfast facility. Completed in Dec '06, it is in a separate wing of the house, with its own entry. It consists of two en-suite rooms, one with a spa bath, and one with a shower. Each room has a TV/DVD player, R/C Air Conditioning and electric blankets. Both rooms open into the guest loung/dining area, with tea and coffe facilities, a refrigerator, and another TV/DVD. A hearty continental breakfast is included in the price. (Please note there are no kitchen facilities in the B&B) |

| Getting There |
We are 6km west of Pemberton on a sealed road. From Perth, go along the main street of Pemberton and when you are almost at the bottom of the hill you will see the new Pemberton Sports Club on your right. Turn right here into Club Rd. Turn left at the end of Club Rd into Pump Hill Rd. Pump Hill Rd becomes Stirling Rd and we are on the left hand side opposite Big Brook Forest. 6km from the Sports Club. |
