All our rooms are ensuite (one with full disabled facilities) and our rates include a barbequed breakfast full of home grown goodies. Sink into our luxurious beds and let the cares of the world waft away, wrap yourself in our fluffy bath sheets and feel pampered. Enjoy the crisp cotton sheets and spoil yourself with our speciality toiletries. Lie in bed and watch TV with a home-made cookie. | Getting There |
Lagoon Pocket Bed & Breakfast is easy to find, just a few minutes off the Bruce Highway south of Gympie, Queensland. From the North: On the Bruce Hwy travelling south, pass MacDonalds on your right, and take the next major turning to the left which is signposted Mary Valley Hwy, to Kandanga and Imbil. This turning will take you over the Bruce Hwy. Follow this road through Jones Hill and Long Flat. After Long Flat you will see our sign. Turn left into Lagoon Pocket Road and we are 500m on your left. From the South: On the Bruce Hwy heading toward Gympie, just after the turning on the right to Cooran, you will see a turning to the left for Kandanga and Amamoor, called Traveston Crossing. Take this turning, follow the road across the river toward Amamoor and when you come to a cross roads, turn right onto the Mary Valley Hwy and continue past Dagun and Gilldora and after about 3 kms you will see our sign. Turn right along Lagoon Pocket Road and we are 500m on the left. |

| Things To Do |
We are 40 minutes drive from the fabulous beaches of Noosa and just 10 minutes from the famous Gold Rush town of Gympie with its wealth of museums and art galleries. From Gympie the fully restored steam train, the Mary Valley Rattler runs through the valley. We can also offer gliding, horse riding, golf and canoeing close at hand. On our doorstep is the beautiful Amamoor State Forest, ideal for walking and swimming in crystal clear water holes. Further down the Valley is Borumba Dam, a haven for watersports and fishing alike. A little further a field we have wineries, the cheese factory at Kenliworth, sailing and dolphin spotting at Tin Can Bay and surfing at Rainbow Beach. |
