9th November 2009 Hi to all, well its been a great few months at Hawaiian Sands Motel. With the cooler weather past us now, the best part of the year is coming! Summer days here are idylic, morning walks along the beach, tourist drives up to the mountains, whilst in walking distance to great dining experiences for couples and families alike. Run across the road for a surf or a swim, fish off the rocks, or just laze by the pool and have a BBQ, retreating to your airconditioned room for an afternoon siesta.... these are the days to enjoy! Mel & Kai The Hawaiian Sands Motor Inn is beautifully situated across the road from the patrolled Parkbeach, Hoey Moey Dining, Childrens Playground and a selection of Cafes. We house 17 clean comfortable units, from single to family size. The Motor Inn also has a 10 meter pool,toddlers pool & BBQ entertaining area all in a tropical setting. All rooms have unlimited internet & air conditioning. Only minutes from the central Harbour, Yacht Club, Deep Sea Fishermans Club and Natural reserves, Hawaiin Sands offers the sanctuary of waterfront accomodation, sea Breezes, natural Beauty only footsteps away outside your front door. My name is Melanie & my partner Kai and I moved down from the Sunshine Coast and took over Hawaiin sands management & maintenance on 30th April 2009. Hawaiian Sands Motor Inn presented to me a canvas that really deserved a new face. In the beginning, it was really hard to know where to start. We were adamant that everything be addressed. It is now 5th July 2009. 2 months later. We have fallen in love with Hawaiian Sands. I believe we have the most beautiful spot on the Coffs Coastal waterfront. With pristine beaches across the road, a Marine Park at our doorstep, islands, inlets, great fishing and all in a walk of 10 minutes or less! Step out the front and turn left and you will enter national marine park and the long beautiful walks that go with it by foot, for as long as you wish! ( And you could still almost be alone) Here you can leave a room, walk 20 mtres and see pods of dolphins gliding through the sea! Turn right, and you have the little OP 81 cafe, (10m), chic, beautiful and relaxing for breakfasts and lunches. Across the road you have the Hoey Moey, which has undergone new management in the last month and about to release their grand plans for the future. ( Food, music, dining and great for families, kids room and playground) And there is more, more, more...... the sunday markets, walk to the yacht club, bike rides........ you name it! I invite and welcome you to come and stay with us to experience the change . Everyone wants a home away from home. A motel should be first and foremost clean and safe. After that, visually appealing. Something extra that we wish to give the Hawaiian Sands experience for anyone who wishes to stay, is an ambient experience. Sun, Sea, soft music, tables, chairs, smiles, laughter and treasured memories! Come summer, I couldn't think of anywhere else I'd wish to be! We have all the pamphlets on tourism attractions for the area, and are only 25 minutes from the inland town of Bellingen. |

The motel is situated within walking distance to clubs, pubs, restaurants and the beach. The Coffs Harbour jetty area is located only 5 mins by car or a 25 min walk. Other attractions in the area include the Big Banana, ice skating, indoor ski slope, jet skiing, parasailing, fishing, carobana chocolate factory and whale watching (in season).White water rafting, Diving Sunday Markets are a walk away. |
