Our Retreat is Carbon Neutral. The Daintree Rainforest Retreat does NOT have noisy generators to disturb your enjoyment of this unique forest by the Coral sea. Daintree Rainforest Retreat is perfectly located in the centre of the Daintree Coast allowing easy access to all the best Ports for exploring the Great Barrier Reef. We are a small boutique style Motel and provide high quality inclusions and pride ourselves on cleanliness and good service. The Retreat has a large saltwater swimming pool, a wonderful outside covered gas bbq area with all cooking utensils. With the best solar collecting systems on the Daintree Coast we offer 24 Hour Noise and Pollution free electricity (We dont turn off the power at night and leave you in the dark) Each room has Private Ensuite Bathrooms,Cloud Comfy Queen beds, Ceiling fans, TV, jug, toaster, china & cutlery. Larger rooms have Kitchenette, Microwave, Sofas, Insect Screens are fitted to ALL rooms. We are on 2 hectares of beautiful rainforest gardens & jungle, where the birdlife, butterflies & wildlife is in abundance. We also have regular visits of a number of cassowaries coming to our property due to the large number of food trees located there. We also provide a full tour booking service. Why pay full price for tours?? We offer 10% discounts exclusively to our guests on all recommended tours from Cairns, Port Douglas and the Daintree coast. See the best Tropical Far north Queensland has to offer for a lot less, all our friendly, local advise is free!! TreeFrogs is our new Licensed Restaurant and you will dine in our fabulous dining area overlooking Frog Pond. Open for breakfast and dinner and there is a great selection on the menus to choose from. |

We are approx 90 mins North of Cairns, continue through the sugar town of Mossman over the Daintree River and the Retreat is located approximately 11 ks North of the Daintree river ferry crossing. Our address is 336 Cape Tribulation Road, Cow Bay which is a sealed all weather road. |

Beachcombing & Bushwalking. 4WD Adventures, Snorkelling & Diving on the Reef; Game Fishing or just fishing in general; Kayaking & River Cruises, Crocodile spotting; photography & scenic drives & picnics. Visit the Daintree Discovery centre for the day where you will enjoy a climb to the top of the tower to be on the same level as the treetops in the jungle. Take an all day cruise to the reef to snorkel or dive; Jungle Surf and enjoy a night walk through the jungle. There are lots lots more to do |
