Getting There Tower Hill, London Bridge and Bermondsey tube stations are all only a short walk from your apartment.

From Heathrow: take the Underground (Piccadilly Line) from Heathrow terminal to Hammersmith. Change and take the District Line to Tower Hill Station. The apartment block is a short taxi ride from the station.

From Gatwick: take a train from Gatwick terminal to London Bridge station. The apartment block is a short taxi ride from the station
Parking Car parking is available at 46-50 Gainsford Street (just behind Queen Elizabeth Street where the apartments are). Cost is GBP13.00 per 24hrs.
Things To Do Adjacent to Tower Bridge is the Tower with its history, museum and of course the Crown Jewels. Behind the Tower sits the City; the Bank of England, Lloyds, the Law Offices, Monument, Fleet Street, St Pauls, the Barbican, and the Museum of London.

Catch a tube for a short ride to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Theatreland, Westminster, Buckingham Palace, and of course West End shopping. Stroll along the river to view HMS Belfast, Hayes Galleria and St Katherine Docks and at night, the brilliantly lit spectable of Tower Bridge.

Excellent boutique shopping is nearby at Hayes Galleria and St Katherine Docks. For markets try Petticoat Lane (less than a mile away) on Sunday mornings and other East End markets such as Roman Road and Brick Street.

The is plenty of choice for eating out. You should use one of the pubs and cafes in the development or maybe try St Katherine Docks or oneof the historic riverside pubs. The Docklands Development stretches downstream from Tower Bridge to Royal Docks and London City airport. You can take the Docklands Light Railway from Tower Gateway (an automated monorail) to explore the magnificent conversion of wharves and warehourses which is Docklands. The central feature is Canary Wharf, the tallest building in Europe. At the end of the line take the foot tunnel to Greenwich the home of Britain's naval tradition. For hours of enjoyment explore the Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, the Royal Ovservatory, as well as bustling markets and cafes.
