Wine Country Lodge really is at the 'Heart of the Wine Country'. Set under the eminent 'Te Mata Peak' we are positioned in a quiet location set amongst the natural tranquility that is Hawke's Bay. However, we're still walking distance to the village centre & all it's amenities. The area's main vineyards such as Craggy Range, Black Barn, Te Mata Estate & Bradshaw Estate are all close by, ensuring a range of superb winery experiences. Additionally, we're a 10 minute drive to Hastings & 15 minutes to Napier, really enabling you to enjoy everything Hawke's Bay has to offer. Accommodation: All 28 apartments are designed with relaxing, stylish furnishings & spacious open plan living & dining areas and microwaves & tea/coffee making facilities. Luxurious spa baths are also available in several of the apartments. Our outdoor pool is bordered by a sheltered seating & sunbathing area, designed to ensure total relaxation. | Getting There |
Wine Country Lodge is situated in Havelock North, just 10 minutes from Hastings & 20 minutes from Napier. From Hastings town centre, head east along Heretaunga Street to Havelock Road. Approaching Havelock North, once over the bridge, veer left into Karanema Drive. At the next roundabout, drive straight ahead into Te Mata Road. Travel approx. 2km along Te Mata Road (through another 3 Roundabouts) and we are on the corner of Te Mata and Arataki Roads. Regular domestic flights connect Napier with Auckland or Wellington. Shuttle buses & taxis can be easily arranged for a moderate charge. It is an easy two and a half hour drive from Rotorua. |
