Abilene Motel in Kerikeri has long been a home away from home for many overseas and local travellers. Set in 1 Acre of sub-tropical grounds you can wake up to the sounds of birds singing but be only a two minute stroll to the heart of the shops and restaurants. All units are fully self contained, with sky tv, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards in units. The grounds hold a solar heated pool, enclosed spa pool and children's play area. Units consist of two bedroom, one bedroom or studios, with one unit for special access needs. All ground floor level. |

Rates are for 1-4 people. Maximum occupancy is 6. Extra guest charge NZ$15 per night. Bedding configuration 1 Double bed in 1 room, 2 singles in 2nd room & 2 single divans in lounge. Historic Attractions: Stone Store, Kemp House, Rewa Village Local Arts and crafts, Sunday Farmers Market, 20 minute drive from Paihia where tours leave for the Hole in the Rock, visit Waitangi while in Paihia or perhaps take the ferry to Russel. Pick up by tour bus from the motel to Cape Reinga. Visit local bays on a drive to Mongonui and 'The Famous Fish and Chip' shop. |
