The Alsterhof - your hotel in berlin - lies a stone´s throw from Kurfürstendamm and only a short walk from the KaDeWe emporium. Here in the heart of Berlin you can treat yourself to the better things of life. Our 199 rooms and suites with their stylish atmosphere offer an oasis of tranquility in the midst of a large and turbulent city. All rooms have an individual mailbox, ISDN direct dial phone, fax machine and safe deposit box. In addition, you may access the Internet through Wireless LAN in all rooms, meeting areas and public spaces. You can also make use of the hotel´s photocopying service and of the internet-corner. In the morning you recive a personal copy of your daily newspaper. Cable TV and Pay TV in your room provide you with interesting programmes. Also we have an restaurant "alsters" with selected regional, interantional dishes and a selection of fine wines and other beverage, while our obliging and attentiv restaurant staff will provide you with the very best in service. In our rustic Berlin tavern "zum Lit-Fass" you can enjoy heathy Berlin specialities such as the classic "Berliner Currywurst" - a sausage with curry powder and ketchup - or a simple "Schmalzstulle" - bread and dripping. Please note that our "Litfass" is open in accordance to our beer garden. Enjoy an invigorating cocktail at the "Scala Bar". Recharge your batteries in the "Offline" Wellness Center on the sixth floor of the hotel overlooking the rooftops of the city. The aroma steam bath under a stary sky, the sauna with it´s stimulating light and sound instalation and the experience showers provide relexation for body and soul. You can reserve our hotel shuttle to pick you up at the Airport or train station. |
