When arriving by taxi or car: From the north, exit State Highway 1 off the Wellington Urban Motorway at The Terrace exit, turn left onto The Terrace and continue to the north end where Bolton Street is on your left, the Bolton Hotel is directly ahead. From the south, follow State Highway 1 to Vivian Street, instead of entering the Wellington Urban Motorway turn onto The Terrace and continue to the northern end, Bolton Street is on the left, the Bolton Hotel is directly ahead. When arriving by train: Go down Lambton Quay to Bowen Street turn left (passing the Beehive) then left onto The Terrace, Bolton Street is first on the right and the Bolton Hotel is directly ahead. |
