Arts Hotel (formerly Sullivans Hotel Sydney) is a charming 3½ star hotel offering a superb location, personal service and great value. All rooms are non smoking. Located on Oxford Street in fashionable Paddington, the Arts Hotel is the perfect base to explore Sydney. The hotel is set amongst cutting edge designer boutiques, specialty shops, art galleries, cinemas, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is within walking distance of the City with buses to Circular Quay, Central Station, Bondi Beach, Bronte Beach and Watsons Bay. The Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney Football Stadium, Fox Studios and Centennial Park are all located nearby. *** On arrival all bookings MUST provide 1. valid PHOTO ID in the name of the booked guest AND 2. a valid CREDIT CARD from one of the guests staying to guarantee any incidental charges. Guests will also be required to sign the hotel’s “No Party” policy. Please note that no-one will be allowed to check-in unless they comply with these conditions. |

Airport shuttle buses drop at the hotel door. If coming by taxi, tell the driver we are between Greens Road and South Dowling Street (the numbering in Oxford Street is confusing). |

The Arts Hotel is set amongst all the attractions of fashionable Paddington, with its specialty shops, fashion boutiques, art galleries, bookshops, cinemas, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Paddington is a heritage conservation area, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle, specialty shops and cutting edge fashion. There are over 250 shops on Oxford Street alone. The area is a delight to explore on foot with handsome terrace houses, winding streets and a village-like atmosphere. On Saturdays there is the added buzz of the Paddington Markets, Sydney’s liveliest and best known street market. It is a 5 minute walk to Sydney Football Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground and St. Vincents Hospital. Fox Studios and Centennial Park are also nearby. Buses go from the hotel to Circular Quay, Central Station, Bondi Beach, Bronte Beach and Watsons Bay. |
