The 2-star Hotel Comte de Nice is situated near the largest shopping street of Nice and its daily market. It leads directly to the 'Promenade des Anglais', the pedestrian zone, the old town and the beach(15-20min walking distance) The 50 rooms and 10 urban studios (with fully equipped kitchenette)all have a private bathroom as well as a basic but modern and clean décor. A breakfast buffet is served (7.00 EUR) each morning and all rooms come with satellite TV. For your convenience the hotel offers private underground parking (8 - 13.50EUR ). There is a 24-hour reception desk with change and fax service. The professionally trained reception staff speaks German, English, and other languages. The hotel is convenient to many fine dining and retail establishments. | Getting There |
BY TRAM get off at stop LIBERATION!!!! From the airport: Follow the signposts towards the city centre and Promenade des Anglais. After about 1km turn left into Blvd Gambetta and go straight through. AFTER the railway bridge turn right into the 4th street (rue C Roassal) and then left into the 3rd street (rue de Dijon). The hotel is now in front of you. From the airport with the bus: Take bus N°23, outside Terminal 1 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)get off at station "RAIBERTI". There you cross the post office park and the main street Malaussena, go into "rue de Thivin", the hotel is in front of you. After 8 p.m. you need to take bus N° 99 to the train station (please tell the driver to stop at the station, otherwise he will go to the main bus station). From there you either walk 10min or take a taxi (ca 10 Euro). A taxi from the airport costs between 30-35 Euro. From the junction A8: Take the exit "Nice Nord"N° 54 and follow the directions towards the city centre (Blvd Gorbella, then Av A. Raynaud). At the very end turn left into Blvd J Garnier and right into Rue Alfred Binet and left into Clement Roassal, left again into Rue de Dijon. |
