To reach us by car: highway exit Genova Ovest, then follow the indications to downtown and Aquarium. After 3 Km there's an underpass in front of you, don't go down but keep to the right, U turn and after two traffic lights turn right into Via delle Fontane. The square in front of you is Piazza della Nunziata, where you can find us. To reach us by train: get off at Principe train station, cross the square in front of you and walk down Via Balbi, in five minutes you'll be at the end of the street where you'll find Piazza della Nunziata, where we are. To reach us by plane: get on the 100 Bus which leaves the airport every hour and stops in Piazza Acquaverde (Principe railway station) where you have to go down Via Balbi until you'll reach Piazza della Nunziata. |

The location of the Hotel Helvetia is unique in Medieval down town of the city. The famous area of Porto Antico (Cotone Congressi, Aquarium, water front and shopping area) is only 200 meters away, the Railway Station Principe and the Cruise Terminal are only steps away as well. The Opera theatre Carlo Felice and the prestigious Palazzo Ducale are 5 minutes away. "Genoa a splendid opportunity" We will tell you about Genoa and its historical centre, the biggest in the Europe, charm tourists for unusual position: strip of land between the mountains and the sea. In order to understand it you have to visit its small squares with the typical black and white houses, San Lorenzo Cathedral, Ducale Palace, Sottoripa Arcades, Via Garibaldi and wonderful architecture of its palaces.
