Our B&B is located opposite the new Fashion Island shopping complex featuring a wide variety of shops, banks, cafes and restaurants (Rain Bar). Bluebiyou restaurant is only a few minutes walk away. Leave your car at the B&B you don't need to drink and drive! Popular Papamoa Beach is a short stroll. Local attractions include fishing, swimming, surfing, golf and Blokarts (land yachts). Mt Maunganui attractions are only a 12 minute drive. The local bus is 2 mins walk from our B&B, we will pick up on arrival from public transport. 50mins drive to Rotorua, just over an hour to Whakatane (White Island), Whangamata in the Coromandel. Breakfast included in tariff. Tea/coffee making facilities,TV and fridge in most rooms together with cane furniture. Ironing facilities available, heater, electric blankets, hair dryers, toiletries, fridge and fans. Off-street parking. |

| Getting There |
Approximately 2 1/2 hours drive from Auckland. Take State Highway 2 to Whakatane/Rotorua look for left turnoff for Papamoa. Travel down Domain Road until you see the BP station on the left and turn into Gravatt Road. We will pick-up from bus station in Mt Maunganui or Tauranga Airport. If lost, phone for directions. |

Fantastic shopping at the fabulous new Fashion Island, lots of cafes and restaurants, and also an English Pub. We are within 50 minutes drive to Rotorua, 1 hour to Whakatane (White Island) and just over 1 hour to Whangamata in the Coromandel. We can organise jetboat riding, swim with dolphins, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, kiddies animal farm, cruises, ten pin bowling, and many more. Also close to excellent golf courses, hiking and hill walking in local regional parks. Maori culture and art galleries. Day tours to White Island and wine trail. Beauty therapist and hairdresser available. |
