Opened in September 2004, the Glass House Mountains Ecolodge provides a unique style of accomodation situated in an organic orchard. Located at the foot of Mt.Tibrogargan, the Ecolodge is ideally located to explore the majestic peaks of the Glass House Mountains area , visit Steve Irwins Australia Zoo <10 minutes> or take a leisurely drive to one of the many beaches of the Sunshine Coast.<30 minutes>. Each Orchard room opens onto a deck overlooking the orchard and provides a spectaculer view of Mt. Tibrogargan. Forest Family rooms open to a Rainforest view.All rooms have a quuen size bed. Guests may wish to take advantage of our restored Queensland Rail carriage for preparing their own breakfasts, and our fully restored Lounge carriage for games and swap library. A continental style breakfast pack is available for purchase at the office.>Advice on local attractions and tours can be booked at the office. |

| Things To Do |
The Eco-lodge is located 50 metres from the National Park. Numerous walks/climbs are available in the local area depending on your level of fitness. Half day and full day abseiling and rock climbing trips can be booked at the office. Advance bookings are recommneded. A visit to Australia Zoo is only 10 minutes away and the beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches only 30 minutes away. The townships of Maleny and Montville on the Blackall Ranges are a beautiful hinterland drive only 30 minutes away. |
