Godwin Beach is on the most northern tip of Moreton Bay, only 5min. from the Bribie Is. bridge. B&B on Godwin has two luxuriously themed suites offering privacy and seclusion. | Getting There |
From the Brisbane CBD, you must travel North along Gympie Rd, following the Sunshine Coast signs. Coming from the Airports, you exit Airport Drive onto the Arterial Rd. You must turn right at this round-about, following the Sunshine Coast signs, going North. Both Highways meet at a large 4-lane junction as you cross the Pine River, which is the start of the Bruce Highway. (The Bruce Highway can take you to North Queensland.) The Bribie Island turn-off is approx 45 Klm from the CBD and less from the Airports. When you pass BP Roadhouses on both sides of the highway, you are now only a few Klm from the Bribie Island turn-off, which is on your left. You will circle up and over the Highway, following the Bribie Island Road signs through a roundabout. Coming from the North, you pass a sign ‘Brisbane-49klms’ sign - followed by a ‘McDonalds- 3 mins’ sign. Take the Bribie Island Rd turn-off on your left, as you pass a huge McDonalds sign. Following Bribie Island Rd, the turn-off to Godwin Beach is 10 Klm from the Bruce Highway. On your left, you will pass a Shell Service Station, followed by a Fruit Barn. A few Klms further you will come to a large roundabout, which is your turn-off to Godwin Beach. After turning right, you are now on Bestman Rd. Follow Bestman Rd for approx 5 klm, then turn right into Rose St. If in daylight, you will immediately see Moreton Bay. As you swing right onto the Esplanade at the waterfront, we are the third residence from the corner. |
