Comfy self-contained timber cottages on 300 acres of stunning peacefull farmland only 7kms (5mins) from Byron Bay or quaint Bangalow's charms.Just a short scenic country drive and you can be at the beach,surfing,shopping, markets,golf course,pubs or clubs, whale watching or you name it! The private individual cottages have a queen and single size bed in the main bedroom, ensuite bathroom, and a fold out sofa lounge that can also accommodate one or two. They all have cathedral ceilings with fans for your comfort, TV and DVD player, and their own private verandah to relax on overlooking the lake and rainforest. The kitchen has all the crockery , cutlery and utensils you will need for as long as you wish to stay. There is an oven with cooktop, microwave and good size fridge.Woodfired BBQ facilities are also situated at various points around the cottages, farm and lake.There is a small laundry with washing machine and some powder supplied. The lake is suitable for swimming and there is a rowboat and canoes available free to use, with a couple of lifejackets for the kids. You can also try your luck fishing in the lake for Australian Bass.The cottages are rated at 3 and a half stars and have ther own individual rainwater tanks for drinking water. Landscaped native rainforest gardens separate each cottage. You can spend your time wandering the farm talking to the cows or ex-Byron lighthouse goats, meander in the rainforest, or take a walk up an old cedar cutters track to spectacular ocean and lighthouse views.(This one is a favourite of ours at sunset and full moon.)Being so close to all the North coast attractions and having the peace and serenity of being in the country, we really do have the best of both worlds, come and try it! |

Ensuite cottage
Rates are for up to 2 adults and children 12 and under.Most of our cottages have a queen and single bed in main bedroom ,ensuite bathroom,fold down sofa in the lounge room. Linen and towels not supplied but may be hired for a one time fee of $20/bed. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $20.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 4 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
The 120 hectare property is located 7 kilometres from Byron Bay or Bangalow on Bangalow Rd. Reception is situated at the farmhouse on Bangalow Rd,(no 436) adjacent to the driveway down to the cottages, look for the farmstay cottages sign. If travelling south through Byron, turn right before the Byron Bay Golf course into Bangalow Rd and look for the signs after 3.7 kilometres.Reception is on the left hand side. If coming from Bangalow, straight down the main street and you are on Bangalow rd. Follow this for approximately 7 kilometers from town and look for the signs on the right hand side. |

| Things To Do |
Canoe and swim in the lake. Fish in the dam.(Bring your own fishing gear.) Walk in the rainforest. Walk to stunning views of the coast or to tranquil pools in the creek. Feed the goats. Watch the farm animals and wildlife from your balcony. Drive 7 kilometres to quaint Bangalow.Fabulous Bangalow market is on the 4th Sunday of every month, beautifull setting in the heart of Bangalow it has evolved into one of the must see markets of the North coast.Bangalow itself is also becoming more and more popular with its heritage buildings,classy restaurants and cafe scene, fabulous antique and individual style shops for that unusual gift or curiosity. Drive 7 kilometres to Byron Bay and the beaches.Whale watching gets better every year, Dolphins abound, the snorkelling just off local beaches is a personal reccomendation as well. Not to mention the ever expanding shopping, the arts and industrial estate is well worth exploring while you are here and the hills around Byron are full of Galleries,cafe's, find yourself a waterfall or two, Crystal Castle, Macadamia Castle is great for the little ones. Did I mention the unreal Byron market which is the 1st sunday of each month. There are the Beaches for Surfing,Restauarants, Galleries Clubs, Pubs,golf and the list goes on and on, something for everyone, or quiet spaces if you need to just chill. |
