Petit Hotel is a delightful turn-of-the-century Victorian building next to Peppers Martinborough Hotel at the heart of this small wine village. It was renovated in 2001 to provide accommodation of the highest quality. Four rooms with queen size beds, pure cotton sheets, each with ensuite bathroom, 5 Sky Digital channels, DVD player, electric blankets, iron and board, heaters, picnic hampers, toaster and jug. All bathrooms have marbled tiles, under-floor heating, and either clawfoot baths with shower over or walk in shower. Luxurious bath sheets complement our beautiful bathrooms as do matching guest robes and hairdryers. The walls feature commissioned work from Martinborough artist Scott Tulloch with local vineyards and scenes. Petit Hotel Martinborough combines the comforts of a larger hotel with the privacy and ease of a country home. Guests of the Petit Hotel are welcome to enjoy The Martinborough Restaurant and the Settlers bar at the neighbouring Peppers Martinborough Hotel. |

Petit Hotel is right in the centre of this charming village, metres from the square and on the main road. Martinborough Wine Village is located in the Wairarapa at the southern end of the North Island. It is approximately one hour by road from the capital, Wellington. It is also a key destination on The Classic New Zealand Wine Trail – a 380km scenic touring route linking three leading wine regions – Hawkes Bay, Wairarapa and Marlborough. These three regions are responsible for over 70% of New Zealand’s total wine production and most of the country’s best known labels can be found along the route. By Road Martinborough is 84km from Wellington via State Highways 2 and 53. It lies close to Masterton (43km), Palmerston North (151km), and Hawkes Bay (293km). By Air Martinborough can be reached by Wellington Airport (limited international and domestic flights). By Rail Featherston Station is a mere 54 minutes from Wellington |
