| Things To Do |
There is never a dull moment in this very special city. From art galleries to theatres, weekend markets to museums, there is a tempting taste of Christchurch's unique culture at every turn. Make Christchurch your base for the great outdoor activities and adventure. Nowhere is there such a magnificent variety of things to do and day trips to take. Visit Hanmer Springs (hot pools and walks), Kaikoura (whales), Akaroa (swim with the dolphins), wineries or just explore our beautiful city, take a romantic punt along the meandering Avon river or ride on the tram. Hagley Park is one of Christchurch's most beautiful assets no matter what season. Take an early morning walk, jog, run or try your luck on the golf course. Hagley Park is also very much used by locals and throughout the year there are many weekend events to visit. |
