| Getting There |
By Car: Travel west on the M4 Motorway from Sydney. The M4 Motorway becomes the Great Western Highway at the base of the Blue Mountains (Lapstone). Turn left off the Great Western Highway at Katoomba. Drive across the railway bridge, turn left at the first roundabout, turn right at the second roundabout. This is Katoomba Street. The Carrington Hotel is located at the top of Katoomba Street on the right, behind the Town Square. Train: Alight at Katoomba Station. Walk up the stairs to the shop side of the station. Take the pedestrian crossing into Katoomba Street. 50 metres on your right behind the town square is The Carrington Hotel. |

The Blue Moutains are a premier tourist destination offering numerous activities and events. Choose from abseiling, rock climbing, canyoning, golfing, mountain biking, eco tours, bushwalking or horseriding. For the less adventurous tour the mountains on the Trolley Bus or Blue Mountains Explorer Bus. Take in the historic Everglades Gardens or Mt. Tomah Botanic Gardens. Indulge in one of Yindi Day Spa's range of treatments or simply relax around the hotel - a destination in itself. Other not to be missed attractions include The Three Sisters, Scenic Railway & Skyway, Jenolan Caves, numerous arts, crafts and antique stores, restaurants, cafes and tea houses, art galleries, bookstores and giftware shops.
