| Getting There |
From the south - Following Pacific Highway going past Bangalow turn-off. Turn left into Coolamon Scenic Drive. Travel for 7km passing Coorabell Public School sign on right. Pass Mullumbimby/Crystal Castle turn-off on right. Take the next right-hand turn into Newes Road. Travel along this road to the very end (approximately 2km). Welcome to Casuarina Lodge. From the north - Bypass Byron Bay turn-off, proceeding along Pacific Highway to Ballina. Approximately 4km after Byron Bay turn-off you will turn right into Coolamon Scenic Drive. Follow directions as above. |

| Things To Do |
Hosting some of east coast Australia's best surfing beaches and scenic coastline, Byron Bay offers an eclectic mix of cafes and boutique stores. Tourist attractions include Nightcap National Park, Whian Whian State Forest, Minyon Falls, Mount Warning and several nearby beaches. Guests can partake in surfing lessons, sea kayaking, whale watching during winter, mountain treks and the annual East Coast Blues and Roots Festival. For the more adventurous there is hang-gliding, abseiling, parachuting and some of Australia's best diving spots (voted top ten in Australia). Or for those with more relaxed holiday activities in mind you can indulge in a massage, float tank or yoga. For a week in June these is also the Taste of Byron food and wine festival. |
