Open for lunch Monday to Friday, from 12.00pm to 2.00pm and for dinner Monday to Saturday, from 6.30pm to 10.00pm. By Air Brisbane Airport is 18km (11.5 miles) from the Central Business District and approximately 25 minutes via taxi or bus. Brisbane is serviced domestically by both Qantas Airways and Virgin Blue, together with several regional carriers. All major international carriers operate services either directly into Brisbane or with connecting services from either Cairns, Sydney or Melbourne. By Rail The closest railway station is Central Station, 1km (½ mile) and is accessible by either taxi or bus. There is an extensive railway network throughout the entire state. By Bus Kirkland Bros, Coachtrans/Pacific West, Suncoast Pacific. By City Ferry or CityCat The Stamford Plaza is within walking distance to the Riverside ferry and CityCat terminal, for easy access to South Bank Parklands, The Queensland Performing Arts complex and The Queensland Art Gallery. |

Stamford Plaza Brisbane is located within the heart of the Central Business District and just minutes walk from the heart of the city's shopping precinct. Located adjacent to the Botanic Gardens, each guest room offers spectacular views of either the Story Bridge, Kangaroo Point Cliffs or the Brisbane River. A range of dining options, including Eagle Street Pier, Adelaide Street East, Central Brunswick, South Bank, Queen Street Mall, Brunswick Street, James Street and Chinatown are within either walking distance of the Hotel or approximately 10 minutes by car. Just minutes by car are some of the city's most significent cultural precincts including the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum - all at South Bank, the Brisbane Powerhouse Centre for the Live Arts in New Farm and the Judith Wright Centre for Contemporary Arts located in the Valley. Eagle Street Pier and Riverside Markets are within walking distance of the hotel and take place each Sunday from 8am-4pm. The Gabba, venue of the first ever test match between England and Australia, and now home of the modern day AFL triple premiership winners, the Brisbane Lions, is within 10 minutes of the city. Suncorp Stadium (home of the Brisbane Broncos), Ballymore for Rugby Union, Doomben and Eagle Farm Racetracks, together with a number of golf courses all highlight the diversity of sport available within easy access of the city. The Gold Coast, home to Seaworld, Movieworld, Dreamworld and Wet 'n' Wild is 75km from Brisbane - approximately 1 hour by car.
