Top floors offer views of the Southern Alps, and central city. The complex is set amongst lawns, native ferns and flaxes. Set well back from the road, each room has either a balcony or verandah. Two blocks away, on the Avon River a must see attraction is the Firemens Memorial dedicated to the New York Firemen who gave their lives in 9/11. The steel structure is from one of the twin towers, and fell 122 floors. From here follow the river to Victoria Square. |
