Segenhoe Inn Luxury Boutique Hotel and B&B, is consistently rated at "better than 5 star!!" by it's clientel. As it is a heritage listed property it cannot be appropriately rated by the bodies which rate motels and luxury accommodation in the same manner. You will be very pleasantly surprised!! Away from the tourist hurly-burly, this beautiful area offers visitors a relaxed and peaceful stay and a view of rural Australia that visitors often do not see. An oasis in the middle of the countryside, Segenhoe Inn is a heritage listed property, circa 1837 and is one of the few remaining colonial properties in Australia. The Bed and Breakfast offers 8 beautifully decorated rooms, all different, and is well suited to romantics and groups of friends or family who wish to make the Inn theirs for a night or weekend. It is in close proximity to vineyards, horse studs, golf and tennis courts, Glenbawn Dam, other historic properties, magnificent scenic drives and sits in the middle of the Heritage Trail. Once settled in, relax in the spacious and comfortable guest living room, fantasize in the formal parlour, in winter in the glow of a cosy fire, meander about the manicured gardens, have a cocktail at the bar or take "high tea" in the silver service dining room. F3 FREEWAY The F3 Freeway is the most direct link between Sydney and the Hunter Valley, taking the Cessnock turnoff and eventually meeting up with the New England Highway. Follow the signs to Branxton, Singleton, Muswellbrook and Aberdeen. Upper Hunter Country starts as you reach Singleton. The New England Highway can also be accessed from the F3 Freeway via the Lower Hunter coalfield towns and the Pokolbin district, joining the highway at Branxton. This diversion will take you through the vineyards of the Lower Hunter PUTTY ROAD This scenic route leaves the Sydney basin at Windsor and follows the western edge of the Yengo National Park to Putty and Bulga and reaches the New England Highway at Singleton. For residents of western Sydney and the Blue Mountains 'The Putty Road' is the shortest route to Upper Hunter Country |
