Built in the 1960's to house the "Dam Workers" High Country Lodge now offers unique motel and backpacker accommodation i the heart of Twizel. Centrally located and set in sunny, spacious grounds, we offer a wide range of accommodation: Self contained studio units, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom motels, doubles, twins, singles and family rooms with ensuites, backpacker rooms, twin, double and shared. With its wide open spaces, amazing scenery and great climate, Twizel is the perfect alternative destination for traveller "on or off" the beaten track. |

Rates are for 1-2 people. Maximum occupancy is 4. Extra person charge is NZ$15 per night. Bedding configuration is 1 Queen Bed and 1 single in Bedroom & 1 Single in lounge. Standard Self-contained Unit. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $15.00. Extra children $15.00. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults, and a maximum of 2 children but cannot exceed 4 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:
