The Mission Beach family friendly accommodation of Cassawong Cottages consists of 4 very individual, self contained family cottages, plus 2 couples retreat bungalows. The family cottages have 2 air conditioned bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and laundry, plus many other features. These innovative Mission Beach family cottages are especially welcoming to children. Our couples retreat bungalows are innovative and exciting with separate king size bedroom looking out to the rainforest and a double spa with rainforest views as well. They are set aside with their own personal relaxation areas and private hammock garden making them ideal for a couples getaway. |

Maximum occupancy is 5 persons with a Kingsize bed in the master bedroom and 2 king singles in the 2nd bedroom. | Getting There |
FROM CAIRNS On the Bruce Highway south from Innisfail you will come to the small township of El Arish. Turn left where indicated for Mission Beach just after the service station on your left. Drive along the scenic road through the World Heritage rainforest and you will emerge approx 15mins later near a small commercial estate on your right with Mitre 10. Take the next road right after the estate ( Cassowary Drive ) and proceed towards Wongaling Beach. You will pass Woolworths on your left, drive past and turn next left into Webb St. with the school on the left and the police station on the right. Drive down Webb St and turn right into Reid Road at the park. Cassawong Cottages are at 47-51 Reid Road and are on the right hand side. FROM TOWNSVILLE The turnoff to Mission Beach is on the right about 1 ½ km North of Tully. Proceed along the road passing through magnificent World Heritage rainforest past the turnoff to South Mission Beach. A short distance further on turn right into the first street, with the police station and school on each side of Webb St. Drive down Webb St and turn right into Reid Road at the park. Cassawong Cottages are at 47-51 Reid Road and are on the right hand side. |
