Located on the most popular street in Queenstown New Zealand, Base Queenstown is THE ‘one stop shop’ hostel - we have everything you could want under one roof – your bed, your entertainment and your adventure all catered for by the friendliest team in town. Shall we take a look around.....Once you've checked in and made yourself at home, take a walk on the first floor where you'll find our large fully stocked kitchen and dining area, our TV room with ample seating and a laundry room with lots of machines for everyone! Make your way back down to the ground floor where you'll find our 24 hour reception, 24 hour internet centre and Base Travel to help you plan your adventure in the adventure capital of the world! Base Travel is stoked to say that we have the cheapest travel deals in town!

Of course the fun doesn’t stop there – we have the famous Altitude Bar where you will meet our hilarious staff that have devoted their life to giving you an awesome time! Getting There To and from the airport:
Shuttles and taxis are located outside the airport terminal and will drop you off at our front door. The cheapest way to get to Discovery Lodge is by shuttle as taxis cost more. When you are ready to leave, just ask our friendly reception crew to book your return shuttle to the airport.

Driving to Base Queenstown:
Finding Base Queenstown is simple as we are on Shotover Street, which is the main street of Queenstown.

Backpacker buses:
Backpacker buses will drop you at our door - just tell the driver you are staying at Base!
Parking We do not have car parking facilities on site, however there is an abundance of free and pay to park car parks within 2 minutes walk.
