Snowy Wilderness offers various types of accommodation and many wilderness activities and tours. Guest accommodation includes our luxury Homestead sleeping up to 10 people with spacious lounge, dining, kitchen, and bar.

Our eco luxury High Country Lodges with one and two bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms, open plan lounge, dining, Italian kitchen and floor to ceiling double glazed windows.

Our secluded stone Cottage is suitable for the couple who want to get away from it all, includes queen bed with ensuite, cozy lounge, dining, and kitchen, the Cottage is set in its own wilderness environment.

Our Lakeside Apartment is in Tyrolean Village, Jindabyne. It is 2 bedrooms, lounge, dining, and fully self contained kitchen. It has stunning views of Lake Jindabyne and the mountains in the background.

Our unique wilderness camp sites where you camp out in comfort, with camp beds, Aussie swags, fire pit, toilets, and bush shower.

All our accommodation is self-contained and each property is booked exclusively to you. For that special occasion or for any reason we have in house chef preparation from our fine dining menu, 24 hours notice is required.

Snowy Wilderness is 7,200 acres of wilderness country in the middle of our Snowy Mountains 25 minutes south of Jindabyne.

Activities and tours include horse riding, you can ride for two hours, one day, or up to seven days. Quad bike tours, two hours, one day, or two day tours. 4WD tours, two hours, one day, or two day tours.

Snowy Wilderness is where The Man from Snowy River comes to life. The wilderness offers days of guided tours taking in breathtaking views, waterholes, waterfalls, rugged wilderness bush, volcanic peaks, and access to the Snowy River; all set within the backdrop of the unique vista of Australia’s Snowy Mountains.

Snowy Wilderness is also a sanctuary for our wild horse, the Brumby. The property is also home to kangaroo, wallaby, emu, wombat, echidna, wedge-tailed eagle, and deer, as well as many varieties of native birds and flora.

Check In Instructions	Depending upon circumstances, check-in is either at our historic Wool Shed reception, or you can follow directions direct to your accommodation.
Check Out	1030hrs
Getting There	Directions to the property from Jindabyne: Please call us on 1800 218 171 before leaving Jindabyne so we know you are on your way and we can direct you to your individual accommodation. Take the second round-a-bout left out of Jindabyne along the Barry Way. Follow the Barry Way for 27km of bitumen, then another 2km of dirt road. Our gate is set back a little on the left and you will see a large timber sign on the fence "Snowy Wilderness". Once through the gate follow our dirt road another 2km (passing through another gate along the way) to the reception in the historic Wool Shed where you will be greeted and shown to your accommodation. To get to Jindabyne, you can either drive or fly to Cooma with Aeropelican from Sydney, or fly to Canberra. Snowy Wilderness can provide 4WD pick up from Cooma or Canberra for a fee.
Parking	Car parking is at our reception and at your accommodation.
Things To Do	Snowy Wilderness provides horse riding, quad bike tours, and 4WD tours. Snowy Wilderness resort has many attractions which can be seen from horseback, quad bike, or 4WD. These include all our wild brumby horses, kangaroo, wallaby, wombat, emu, echidna, wedge tail eagle, deer, and quoll. Other attractions are the spectacular high country views, and views of our main range including Mt Kosciuszko, the Ramshead, and Mt Perisher. Regional attractions include visiting the Snowy River, Jacobs, Pinch, Moonbah, and Thredbo rivers as well as Lake Jindabyne. Visit the Alpine Way including Thredbo Village, Crackenback Cottage, and the Wild Brumby Schnapps distillery. Visit Mt Perisher and Charlottes Pass. A visit to historic Dalgety and the Buckley's Crossing pub is always a favourite.
