In the heart of the bushland on the north side of the highway in Leura, Piccolo is your quaint mountain retreat. The house is nearly 100 years old built between 1910 and 1920 and was originally a two room miner?s cottage. The rooms have kept their charm because they still have their original timber walls, floors and solid wood door. Using the same building methods the cottage has been extended over the years to accommodate modern living and now has four rooms (a bedroom, kitchen, dining and living) and a bathroom.
There are so many ways to enjoy your time at Piccolo Holiday House. There is some amazing local produce that you can cook in our fully equipped kitchen with farmhouse sink, stainless steel gas stove and BBQ on the veranda. Otherwise you can watch a movie on the couch in front of the roaring open fire (fire wood provided). For those who are looking for a very leisurely break, you can appreciate the local wildlife whilst rocking yourself to sleep on the large veranda. Another option is to just relax and read a book or magazine in the study/dining room. In any case, you will enjoy your stay at Piccolo.
Piccolo is an ideal getaway for couples. However, we have provided a double sofa bed and dining for four so that you can bring a couple of friends or family.
With an enclosed veranda, Charlee our mini foxie (terrier) loves to sit outside with all the sights and sounds of the mountains. If you would like, we are also happy for you to bring a pet along.
Piccolo is within walking distance to Leura Mall (15 minutes) and just a short drive to all the Blue Mountains has to offer. Restaurants, National Parks with walking trails, Leura Golf Club, boutique shopping, fine food markets and more.
We have designed our cottage with a comfortable and relaxed attitude. We want you to feel that when you step inside it will become your home too. We hope that you can unwind, enjoy your stay and long to return to Piccolo soon.

| Getting there | The best access to the Blue Mountains is via car. Piccolo is a very short drive from the highway at Leura. From the Leura train station we are a 10 minute walk or three minute taxi ride. |
