McCauley's Cottage (circa 1846) is an iconic two and a half bedroom stone colonial cottage with two Rumford open fireplaces; beautiful antique furniture; and old blackwood, cedar and baltic pine features throughout. Other features of the Cottage include a disabled access bathroom with underfloor heating and a veggie garden with a variety of berries (in season). Most of central and southern Tasmania including places such as Russell Falls in National Park, Lake St. Clair, Hobart City, Ross and Huonville is within an hour or so from Hamilton.
