Tenterfield Historic Luxury c1895 Cottage "Escape to Classic Country Charm"

Welcome to Luxury at Tenterfield Cottage.

A great holiday cottage, suitable for couples or up to seven guests. Built in c1895 and renovated in 2010, Tenterfield Cottage is a three bedroom classic country cottage with loads of charm. The main queen bedroom comes with a cosy electric fire. The second bedroom has two single beds or one king bed. The third room is a self-contained, one bedroom unit called Homeleigh Suite with a double bed and single plus kitchenette.

The cottage has a large kitchen with full electric stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and all the modern conveniences you need in a country kitchen. If cooking is not for you it is only a short stroll or drive to cafe's and restaurants. All luxurious linen is supplied and a starter pack with tea, coffee, sugar and milk to enjoy on arrival.

Relax in comfort in your living room and sit back and be romanced in front of the cosy wood fire or sit on the large back deck and have a BBQ. The cottage also has air conditioning for added comfort. There are two bathrooms.

Our cottage will be everything you desire from romance to relaxing.

Payment details We take MasterCard and Visa card. When we are notified by Wotif re your booking, we will contact you and obtain your credit card details, your information and number of guests, so we can organize the bedding configuration and finalise the booking. Wotif will take your deposit at time of booking and the balance is due before arrival. We will take the balance out of your credit card.

Getting there Tenterfield Cottage is located at 121 Rouse St Tenterfield, which is Tenterfields main street. From the centre of town just head south and you will see 121 with our sign out the front opposite the Historic Stannum House.



Parking Under cover parking in a carport at the back of the house is available to our guests.
Things to do Heritage Rich Tenterfield

Tenterfield is situated on the Great Dividing Range at the northern end of the New England Highway a short distance from the Queensland border.

One of the most romantic and colourful of Australia's frontier towns, Tenterfield is known as "The Birthplace of Our Nation" -Sir Henry Parkes delivering his famous Federation Speech in the Tenterfield School of Arts on 24th October 1889. This Speech ultimately led to the Federation of all Australian States on January 1st 1901.
