The lodge sleeps six guests in three master bedrooms all with king beds and large ensuites. One cot and high chair are supplied but you will need to supply your own linen. All king bed linen supplied. All beds can be separated into king singles. The lodge has a large open plan living room with double open sided fireplace, Miele kitchen, entertainment area with fifty inch plasma and arguably the largest sofa on the east coast.
The furnishings have been sourced from around the world including Chinese and Mongolian antiques. All linen and towels are custom made as well as specially designed amenities and fragrances for the bathrooms. There is a full laundry with Miele appliances, a library of magazines and books, as well as a comprehensive music collection and an iPod.
The Lodge sits in a rural setting with views of the Bay and is great for viewing the passing whales, resident sea eagles and in the evenings the local wildlife of wallabies and possums (telescope supplied).

| Getting there | Dragonfly Lodge is located in Rocky Hills on the East Coast of Tasmania and is around one hour forty five minutes from both Hobart and Launceston. Follow the Tasman Highway along the Coastline, the Lodge sits just 15km south of Swansea on the Great Oyster Bay and looks out over the Tasman Sea towards Schouten Island and the Freycinet National Park The entrance is signed and located to the south of the Lodge over a small bridge and then follow the Dragonfly "posts". Your Manager will be there to greet you. |

| Things to do | Dragonfly Lodge is situated in a rural setting with views to Freycinet Peninsula to the East and to the south Maria Island. Both these locations offer a myriad of attractions from cruises to dining, fishing, walks and other activities. There are beautiful deserted beaches and bays ideal for long walks close to the Lodge, and Swansea, (the closest town), hosts a number of excellent restaurants and cafes. Scattered along this route there are also excellent wineries. World renowned Wineglass Bay is around 40 minutes drive and Kate?s Berry Farm is a short ten minute drive. |
