Beacon Light is a north facing, two bedroom, waterfront apartment with stunning water views across the boats moored in Dalpura Bay.
The lounge area is a large room with glass doors to allow you to enjoy the water views. The doors open onto a large deck complete with an outdoor dining suite and gas BBQ overlooking the water. The self-contained kitchen has been cleverly designed so that even when you’re at the sink you can still admire the views.
The two large bedrooms are both well decorated with queen size beds and large walk in robes. The bathroom is huge, decorated in beach side colours with a large spa bath to relax in and an overhead shower. There are full laundry facilities hidden behind a set of doors in the bathroom area. From the house you can follow the path down to your own section of water front.

| Getting there | To reach Macleay Island you catch a water taxi or vehicle barge from the seaside suburb of Redland Bay. The water taxi departure point is at the southern end of Banana St. It takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Macleay Island. Bay Islands Transit System can be contacted on 07 3206 8033 for timetable information and fares. If you would like to bring a car, the vehicle barge departure point is approximately an hour drive from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Located on Weinham Street, Redland Bay it takes approximately 40 minutes to reach the island. Bay Islander Service can be contacted on 07 3488 5300 for timetable information and fares. | Things to do | Macleay Island is sheltered in the vast marine park of Moreton Bay. It is rich in native flora and fauna, edged with mangrove foreshores and sandy beaches, providing respite from the outside world. An eco-tourism dream and bird watcher’s nirvana, the island offers a variety of experiences. The calm waters are great for swimming, fishing, sea kayaking and snorkeling. Visitors can enjoy gourmet breakfasts, champagne sunsets, al fresco dining, arts & crafts or curl up with a book and just relax.
